What We Do
At PL Paws, we’re a bunch of volunteers in Bangalore who take animal rescue and rehab seriously. We know it’s tough work - some days are heavy, especially when we lose a dog we tried so hard to save. But we just can’t give up. The moment a scared, injured pup finds happiness in a new family? That’s why we keep going.
How We Help
- We focus on Bangalore dog rescue, jumping in when dogs are abandoned, surrendered, hurt, or stuck in cruel situations like illegal breeding.
- Pedigrees and Indies - we don’t care about breed, if a dog needs help, we’re there.
- We depend on an animal foster care network, since we don’t have a shelter. Foster homes are the heart of our rehab process.
Our Approach
- Medical checks and treatment come first. We cover everything, from infections like tick fever to post-op care for major surgeries.
- Nutrition matters. No kibbles here - we work with species-appropriate diet for rescued animals, always grain-free and meat-based, with guidance from canine nutritionists.
- Healing is more than meds. We work with fosters on behavioral rehabilitation for dogs - tackling anxiety, aggression, and helping them learn trust and basic manners.
Real Talk
We’re just volunteers – everything runs on donations and community support. No fancy shelter or paid staff, just folks who care. If you spot a dog in trouble around Bangalore, WhatsApp is the way to reach us. Calls won’t work, our team stays busy on the ground.

My Story
I still miss Snowy every day, she was my heart. Losing her after all those surgeries—uff, dukh hota hai (it hurts). But you know, adopting senior dogs, giving them a home, that’s pure joy. Found homes for pups like Fiona, made me believe in second chances. Fostering and adopting, it’s not just about saving lives, it’s about sharing love. We do this for Snowy, for all the Indies and seniors out there.
