About this collection
When you see an invoice here, that is exactly what your money covers. Rescue work isn't just about food and shelter; it is about the heavy costs of diagnostics like MRI scans, echocardiograms, and daily medication for chronic conditions. We don't have a corporate buffer, so we rely on direct community contributions to keep these treatments running for dogs like Buddy.
Where Your Money Goes
Transparency is our only policy. We are a volunteer-led group without a physical shelter, meaning every rupee we raise goes directly toward the health and recovery of the dogs in our care.
The Reality of Medical Rescue Rescue cases often arrive with complex health issues. We frequently deal with:
- Advanced Diagnostics: Costs for MRI scans, CT scans, and 2D-Echocardiograms to detect heart failure or neurological issues.
- Routine Lab Work: CBC, serum biochemistry, and thyroid profiles that help us track progress or adjust medications.
- Chronic Medication: Ongoing support for lifelong conditions, such as heart supplements or anti-seizure medication.
The Buddy Case Study Take Buddy, for example. When he came to us with breathing difficulties and abnormal panting, we didn't just guess his treatment. We conducted a full cardiac evaluation, which revealed dilated cardiomyopathy. The diagnostic tests, consultations, and daily cardiac drugs were costly, but they gave us the roadmap to manage his condition and keep him comfortable. By posting his full medical reports and invoices, we ensure our donors see the specific, high-cost items their contributions are clearing.
Why We Ask for Help We do not have paid staff or administrative overhead. When we put out an appeal, it is because a vet bill has come due that we cannot cover alone. Whether it is 100 rupees or 1,000, every contribution helps us settle these pending invoices so we can focus on the next rescue.
