Operational Policies
- No-Visit Rule: Strict policy prohibiting former owners from visiting to prevent psychological distress and separation anxiety triggers.

My Story
We are VOSD, not just a shelter—home for dogs nobody else wants. Olivia, born blind, Lizzie, acid attack survivor, Andy, brain injury—these are our family. Each one’s been through hell, but here, they get love and dignity. Adoption isn’t our goal, because most of our 1800+ dogs have nowhere else to go. We started VOSD so every dog gets respect, not pity. Here, they’re not burdens. They’re home. Simple.
