About this collection
When you walk into our studio, you are not just using a machine, you are working with a system. Our CenterLine apparatus, from the Reformer to the Wunda Chair, is calibrated to provide the precise feedback necessary for Classical Pilates. This equipment does not just support your body, it demands your full awareness and core engagement, ensuring every movement serves a specific purpose in your long-term alignment.
The Classical Difference
Most modern fitness studios offer a watered-down version of Pilates. We do not. Our studio follows the lineage of The Pilates Center, Boulder, which means we uphold the original method Joseph Pilates called Contrology. This is a system of movement that relies on the interaction between the body and the apparatus.
Why Our Equipment Matters
The equipment you see in our gallery is not gym machinery. It is authentic CenterLine apparatus, designed specifically to assist, resist, and challenge your body in precise ways.
- The Reformer: Uses spring resistance to build uniform strength and flexibility.
- The Cadillac: Allows for advanced spinal articulation and rehabilitation-focused work.
- The Wunda Chair: A compact, powerful tool for building stability, balance, and full-body control.
Every piece of equipment in our Lavelle Road facility is chosen because it creates an environment where proper form is unavoidable. You cannot 'cheat' your way through an exercise here. Our instructors use these tools to teach you how to engage your muscles correctly, whether you are here for injury recovery, athletic performance, or general fitness.
Your Journey
We keep our group classes strictly limited to 4-6 students. This ensures that you are not just another body in the room. You receive real-time feedback and tactile cues from our instructors, making sure that the work you do on the apparatus translates to how you move in your daily life. This is not about a quick sweat; it is about building a body that functions with efficiency, strength, and ease.
Kavita Prakash
We brought the Classical Pilates method to India because we believe in the discipline of the original system. Our studio is not for people looking for a quick, trendy workout; it is for those ready to invest in their body's longevity through the precision of Contrology.
