This is where it all begins. A simple pencil, a blank page, and the willingness to learn. Our foundation program is designed to build your skills from the ground up.

Mastering value scales and stroke techniques is essential for creating depth and realism. We guide you through these core exercises to build a solid base for your art.

About The Foundation of Drawing

Learning to draw is a process of unlearning the rush of daily life. In our foundation batches at our Jayanagar studio, we focus on the mechanics of your hand—how to control a pencil, create depth with a value scale, and observe light as it falls on an object. Please note that for these offline sessions, we ask students to bring their own pencils and sketchbooks, as we believe owning your tools is the first step toward building a personal practice.
