Foundation Painting Course
Course Structure
- Duration: 2 months (8 weeks).
- Sessions: 16 practical classes (2 classes per week).
- Class Length: 2 hours of guided instruction per session.
- Locations: Hybrid format using the Jayanagar studio and outdoor sessions at Cubbon Park (typically Sunday mornings).
Curriculum (Choose One Medium)
- Options: User selects either Watercolor or Acrylics.
- Basics: Color wheel theory, pigment mixing, and brush control.
- Techniques: Wash techniques, layering, texturing, and wet-on-wet methods.
- Subjects: Progression from basic shapes to Still Life and Nature/Landscapes.
Studio Experience
- Vibe: Traditional 'Gurukul' style learning with communal wooden benches and natural ventilation.
- Atmosphere: Non-AC environment focusing on natural light.
- Perk: Complimentary tea provided during sessions.
Important Exclusions
- Materials: Not included. Students must purchase their own supplies (Approx. cost ₹3,000 - ₹4,000).
- Certification: This is a non-certified hobby course.
- Missed Classes: No carry-forwards allowed.
Advanced Certification Course
Course Structure
- Duration: 3 months (12 weeks).
- Sessions: 24 intensive practical classes (2 classes per week).
- Class Length: 2 hours per session.
- Eligibility: Suitable for students with intermediate skills or those who completed the Foundation course.
Advanced Curriculum
- Specialization: Deep dive into Acrylics on Canvas or Advanced Watercolors.
- Techniques: Composition (Rule of Thirds), perspective drawing, and realistic texturing.
- Subjects: Realistic portraits, architectural landscapes, and wildlife.
Certification & Portfolio
- Outcome: Completion of 3 to 4 gallery-worthy artworks.
- Certificate: 'Certificate of Completion' awarded upon successful submission of final assignments.

- Materials: Not included. Requires professional-grade materials like canvas pads and heavy-body acrylics (Approx. cost ₹4,000 - ₹6,000).
Junior Art Foundation Course
Program Details
- Target Age: Children aged 5 to 15.
- Duration: 3 Months (Quarterly Term).
- Volume: 8 classes per month (Total 24 classes).
- Format: Choice of Offline (Studio) or Online (Live interactive).
Syllabus Based Learning
- Approach: Structured progression rather than random hobby activities.
- Sketching: Grip control, lines, shapes, and object drawing.
- Coloring: Techniques using Oil Pastels and color mixing.
- Creativity: Memory drawing and basic composition exercises.
Class Environment

Not fancy studios - just open sky, sketchbooks, chai, and artists who knew their stuff. Chai in one hand, pencil in the other. That vibe stuck. Now, we’ve got a studio, a Gurukul, but the heart’s the same. We’re here to keep Indian folk arts like Chittaara and Kalamkari alive. Step in, and you join our story.
