About Enchanted Forest & Fairytale Portraits
These sessions blend real, candid moments with creative post-production. We shoot in quiet forest settings or gardens to catch the perfect golden hour light, and later, I hand-edit details like fireflies, fluttering butterflies, or soft haze to make the final portrait look like a scene from a storybook. It is art that feels real, without the artificial studio feel.
My Enchanted Whimsy sessions are designed for those who want their memories to look like a painting. Whether it is a maternity shoot, a family portrait, or a special moment for your little ones, the focus remains on the raw connection between you and nature.
What happens during a session?
We usually spend 2 hours on location. This isn't about stiff posing. I might ask you to walk together, whisper something to your partner, or simply play with your kids. My goal is to capture the 'in-between' moments—the look of anticipation in a mother's eyes or the genuine wonder on a child's face.
The magic in the editing
The 'fairytale' element comes together in the final edits. After the shoot, I take the raw files and add digital compositing—glowing fireflies, light overlays, or dreamlike haze—to enhance the atmosphere. This is not about changing who you are, but about framing your story in the magic it deserves.
Practical details
- Location: I work across the Mumbai Metropolitan Area, often finding hidden forest spots or using the 'secret garden' setups in my Mulund West studio.
- Wardrobe: I have a collection of premium maternity gowns, tulle fabrics, and long trains that flow beautifully in the wind.
- Deliverables: You receive 10 to 12 edited images, with a selection of 2 to 3 photos receiving the full digital creative composite treatment.
