About Outdoor Storytelling
Outdoor shoots rely entirely on the sun, so we always plan for the golden hour, that short window of time when the light is softest. Unlike studio sessions, this is about movement and freedom. Your little one can run, explore, and play while I stay back with my camera to catch the genuine moments that happen when you are not trying to hold a pose.
Nature offers a backdrop that no studio set can replicate. When we move our session to a park or a beach near Borivali, the goal is to break away from the pressure of sitting still. This environment is perfect for toddlers with endless energy or families who feel a bit stiff in front of a camera.
We integrate props like vintage suitcases, mirrors, and soft blankets to bring a touch of the studio's warmth into the natural world. These elements often help children settle into a play-based mindset, making them feel like they are embarking on an adventure rather than participating in a photoshoot.
We typically schedule these sessions during the sunrise or sunset to get that rich, warm color grading that defines this style. Because outdoor photography is weather-dependent, we stay in close touch regarding the forecast. If the clouds look moody or the light isn't quite right, we are flexible and happy to adjust our plans to ensure you get the high-resolution images you want for your family albums or wall prints.
