Additional Conceptual Art for Your Portraits
Sometimes a photograph needs a little more magic. This collection explores my experimental work, from fine art animal portraits to digital painting, where we turn real moments into surreal, timeless stories.
A majestic horse stands as a perfect muse amidst the glistening leaves of a monsoon forest. This is a moment where nature and a noble soul feel as one.
A moment of quiet interaction between a horse and a butterfly. This image blends my love for animals and the whimsical, magical elements of nature.
A maternity photo transformed into a watercolor painting. This digital art piece captures the emotion of the moment in a soft, expressive, and unique style.
About Additional Conceptual Art
When I work on these conceptual pieces, I am not just editing for clarity. I spend hours on digital compositing, adding subtle elements like butterflies or merging textures to ensure the final print feels like a painting rather than a standard photograph. Whether it is transforming a maternity portrait into a watercolor masterpiece or placing an equine subject into a surreal forest scene, the aim is to craft a story you can hang on your wall.
Behind the Digital Canvas
Conceptual art is where my storytelling meets my love for fine art. These aren't just standard edits where I adjust the brightness and contrast. This process is about transformation.
Watercolor & Painterly Styles
Many of my clients want their photos to look like heirlooms. I take a portrait, perhaps a maternity shot or a tender family moment, and treat it with a painterly filter that mimics the texture of watercolor on canvas. It softens the edges and adds a dreamlike quality that makes the image feel personal and nostalgic.
Digital Composition
This is where the magic happens. I can take a photo of you, perhaps in my Mulund West studio, and place you into a completely different environment. We can blend your portrait into a lush, misty forest or a vintage garden setup. I layer in elements like fireflies, light leaks, and flora to build an atmosphere that wasn't there during the shoot, but feels like it belongs in your memory.
Why Conceptual Art?
People often ask if these images are 'real'. My answer is that they capture the feeling of the moment rather than just the literal scene. If your maternity shoot felt like a quiet, fairytale experience, the final conceptual image should reflect that magic. It is my way of ensuring your images don't just sit in a folder on your phone, but become art pieces you are proud to display in your home.
