I believe every photo should feel like a story. This collection brings together my favorite frames, ranging from painterly heritage portraits to candid, nature-blessed moments.

A mother-to-be in her own secret garden. For this fine art maternity portrait, we created an entire world of florals and soft light right in the studio, crafting a scene that feels like it's straight out of a fairytale.

Inspired by the timeless paintings of Raja Ravi Varma, this portrait captures the divine grace of motherhood. The rich red saree, antique brass lamps, and dramatic lighting come together to create a piece of heritage art.

A glimpse into the playful and divine world of our Little Radha and Krishna sessions. We create a complete set with peacock motifs, traditional props, and rich fabrics to capture the innocent spirit of your child in a painterly style.

A family moment wrapped in the magic of a forest evening. With a vintage lantern and the gentle glow of digitally added fireflies, this outdoor portrait becomes a cherished memory of togetherness and wonder.

A tiny princess dreaming amongst the flowers. This newborn portrait showcases my gentle approach, using soft wraps, a delicate crown, and a bed of flowers to create a safe and beautiful setting for your sleeping baby.

In the heart of an enchanted forest, she holds a captured fairy. This is a conceptual fine art portrait where I blend reality with digital magic, using light and shadow to tell a story of wonder and mystique.

A modern muse in a classical frame. This portrait is part of my Raja Ravi Varma series, focusing on the expressive power of posture and gaze, transforming a photograph into a piece of fine art that honors Indian aesthetics.

An enchanting outdoor portrait of a baby girl surrounded by the gentle flutter of butterflies. I love capturing these moments of pure joy and curiosity as little ones interact with the nature around them.

Motherhood captured with simple elegance. This outdoor maternity session shows how a beautiful saree and the natural light filtering through trees are all that's needed to create a portrait filled with grace and serenity.

Here I am explaining my process for a Raja Ravi Varma inspired shoot. It's my passion to bring a client's vision to life, combining careful styling, lighting, and editing to transform a photo into a piece of painted history.

About Featured

My approach here is simple, I don't look for stiff, perfect poses. Whether we are in my Mulund studio for a Raja Ravi Varma style session or out in the forest chasing golden light, the focus is on capturing a mood. You will see elements of digital magic in these images, like added fireflies or soft haze, which are all part of the post-production work I do to turn a raw photo into a piece of art.

This cluster highlights the full range of what I do. It is a mix of my three distinct visual worlds. First, there are the Raja Ravi Varma inspired portraits, where we use vintage props, rich sarees, and dramatic, painterly lighting to create something that feels like old-world Indian heritage. This requires careful planning and direction from me, as the posture and gaze are everything.

Then there is my outdoor work, which is my true home. When we shoot in the forest or at a garden, I prefer to work with natural light. If it is a maternity or family shoot, I want you to feel free to move, to run, or to hold your baby without worrying about where to look. I add digital touches later, but the emotion in the frame comes from you being yourself.

Finally, there are the conceptual, fine-art sessions. These include my Little Krishna shoots with traditional props and the fairytale-style portraits where we build a secret garden atmosphere. These sessions are about creating something that looks like it came out of a dream. Whether it is a studio session in Mulund West or an outdoor shoot, my goal remains the same, to give you a memory that feels like a painting.

I am Payal. I chase sunlight, not studio lights, and I believe the best portraits happen when you just 'be.' I love capturing messy, muddy shoes and real laughs as much as I love crafting a regal, painterly scene.
