About Semi-Classical & Lyrical Flow

Semi-classical isn't about counting beats—it's about the nuance. When I teach lyrical flow, we focus heavily on the transition between sharp mudras and fluid body waves, because that's where the story actually lives. My sessions at Studio SEVEN focus on getting those micro-expressions right, so you aren't just doing steps, you're feeling the track.

Dance is more than just movement to me; it's a 17-year journey of passion. In my Semi-Classical and Lyrical Flow workshops, we don't just learn a routine. We dissect the emotion behind every note.

Why focus on Flow?

Often, people get stuck on the mechanics of a step. My method is different. We focus on:

  • Musicality: Understanding the rise and fall of the melody before moving a limb.
  • Expression: That subtle flick of the wrist or the tilt of the head that turns a step into a story.
  • Fluidity: Connecting movements so the dance looks like a continuous thought rather than a series of poses.

Where we train

We practice at my studio, Studio SEVEN, in Andheri West. It’s built with professional sprung wooden floors to protect your joints, so you can focus entirely on the dance. Whether you are prepping for a wedding Sangeet, wanting to level up your technique, or just want to create a reel that stands out, we work on the 'vibe' first.

If you're joining a personal batch, we dedicate 20 sessions to truly refining your form and camera presence. We don't just perform; we capture it with high-quality production so you have a professional memory to keep. Come by, let's play some music and find your flow.
