My Dance Journey: Behind Studio SEVEN
From Sambhajinagar to Mumbai, dance has been my life for 18 years. This is a peek into my world, my studio, and why I believe dance is for everyone. Feel karo, reel karo!
A quiet moment at home. This is me in my element, surrounded by books and wearing traditional Indian attire.
Trying out a different look. I usually stick to dance, but it's fun to explore a more intense, negative role character for a photoshoot.
A candid shot. Just a moment to pause and reflect. Be a better you, for you.
Celebrating International Dance Day with my crew. After 18 years in this profession, it still feels like I haven't danced enough. The craving is real.
Just a fun, crazy moment with my dance partners. This is what happens when we dance to 90s songs like 'Chale Jaise Hawayein'.
A behind-the-scenes look at us trying to film a dance reel. It takes many takes, lots of laughs, and a ton of fun to get the final shot.
A fun, casual dance at home to a Punjabi track. Sometimes the best dance sessions happen right in your living room.
A fun 'Bang Bang' routine with a new dance partner in the house. It's always great to share the joy of dance with friends and family.
About My Studio & Journey
When you walk into Studio SEVEN in Andheri West, don’t expect a rigid, intimidating classroom setup. I built this space specifically so you can let go, make mistakes, and have fun while learning. Whether we’re filming a quick reel or sweating through a technique session, the focus is always on your comfort, not just the steps.
It has been 18 years since I started this journey in Sambhajinagar, and every day still feels like the first time I hit the dance floor. Moving to Mumbai was a dream, but building Studio SEVEN from scratch was my reality. This studio isn't just a place to teach; it’s my 'adda'—my heaven where I bring people together to celebrate movement.
Why Studio SEVEN?
I wanted to create a space that feels right the moment you step in. We have a professional sprung wooden floor, which is non-negotiable for me—it protects your joints so you can jump, shuffle, and slide without worrying about injuries. Plus, it’s fully air-conditioned, so even when we’re going hard on a high-energy Hip-Hop or Bollywood routine, you stay cool and focused.
My Philosophy: Feel Karo, Reel Karo
I see so many students who get caught up in counting beats and looking perfect. My goal is different. I want you to feel the music first. If you feel it, the movement follows naturally. That’s why we often wrap up my workshops by shooting a reel—it’s not for the likes, but to document that feeling of accomplishment.
Whether you are looking for:
- Weekend Bollywood workshops to destress
- Technical courses to improve your isolations and footwork
- Private coaching to prep for a specific performance or portfolio
I’m here to guide you. It’s never about being the best; it’s about enjoying the process. Let’s get moving, bhai!
