Expressive & Graceful Choreography Classes
Dance isn’t just steps for me—it’s how I tell a story. Whether you want to master lyrical movements or find your flow with semi-classical styles, let's turn music into emotion together.
A semi-classical piece for Janmashtami, performed at a temple in Bangalore. This choreography blends devotional gestures with graceful dance, perfect for special occasions.
A soft and flowing choreography to the classic 'Jashn-e-Bahaara'. This style emphasizes grace and expression, which are core components of my semi-classical classes.
Seated choreography that focuses on hand gestures (mudras) and facial expressions. This shows that expressive dance is possible in any space and with any level of mobility.
A lyrical performance to 'O Re Piya'. My expressive choreography classes help you translate the song's story into movement, focusing on emotion and fluidity.
Dancing to 'Tere Naina' in a modern setting shows how classical grace can be blended with contemporary styles. The hair flip and spin are key expressive elements we practice.
A simple and heartfelt choreography to 'Ishq Hai'. I encourage students to try my choreography and add their own emotional touch to the performance.
A beautiful, flowing dance to the romantic song 'Manwa Laage'. This style is perfect for beginners who want to learn graceful Bollywood moves.
About this collection
I focus on breaking down complex hand gestures and facial expressions in every session, so even if you are a total beginner, you will walk away with a routine that actually feels like you. It is about feeling the rhythm first, steps second.
Finding Your Flow
When we dance to tracks like 'O Re Piya' or 'Jashn-e-Bahaara', it is not just about moving your feet. It is about the story you are telling. In my classes, we work on the 'why' behind the movement. We focus on lyrics-to-beat mapping, which helps you understand exactly when to use a specific mudra (hand gesture) or a soft glance to convey the song's emotion.
What You Can Expect
I keep my teaching style very simple. Whether we are in a rented studio space in Bengaluru or working through a live call, the process is consistent:
- Warm-up: We start with 10 minutes of cardio or light isolations to get the body ready.
- The Breakdown: We spend 40 minutes mapping out the steps. I don't care if you mess up the first time—we just try again until it feels natural.
- Cool Down: 10 minutes of stretching to keep everything relaxed.
Flexible Learning
I know life gets busy. That is why I offer everything from monthly group batches—capped at 12 people to make sure everyone gets attention—to private 1-on-1 sessions at your home. If you just want to learn one specific song, my digital tutorial packages with live correction calls are a great way to polish your performance on your own time.
We focus on what makes you feel good. If that means blending a bit of Sufi inspiration with contemporary steps or keeping it strictly semi-classical, we will find that balance together. Ready to express yourself through dance?
