At Studio SEVEN, we prioritize feeling the music before worrying about perfection. My approach starts with core isolations and basic footwork, ensuring you're comfortable with your body’s movement. Whether it's a simple hip-hop bounce or a semi-classical wave, I’ll help you understand the 'why' behind every move so you’re dancing with confidence, not just counting steps.
Dancing isn't about being perfect from day one. It's about knowing how your body moves. In my 'Dance Basics' sessions in Andheri West, we strip away the complex choreography and focus on the building blocks: isolation, weight transfer, and musicality.
We cover fundamental hip-hop moves like the kick-ball-change and learn to control the flow with body waves. These are the steps you see in trending reels, but here, we slow it down. The environment matters when you are learning. We train on professional sprung wooden floors which are crucial for protecting your knees and ankles while you practice those repetitive hops and turns. The studio is centrally AC-cooled, so you can focus on the vibe, not the heat.
