Building TDC Wedding Choreography hasn't always been easy, but it’s been the most rewarding ride. Here’s a little peek at the hustle, the recovery, and the joy of creating magic.

A reminder of what it takes to run a business. This video shows the reality of chasing a dream, from late night work sessions to remembering the little girl who started it all.

This one is for all the female entrepreneurs. The journey can be taxing and stressful, but remembering your 'why' makes the hustle worth it every single time.

A thought on how dance training has changed. I miss the days of hardcore training to become a better dancer for life, not just learning one routine for a workshop.

A message for International Dance Day. I want every dancer to know that your art matters, no matter what your style is. There is enough room for everyone to win.

That post-show glow. A little gratitude post after the first show of the year, feeling excited about building my wedding choreography business from the ground up.

When you're a dancer at a Dance Physical Therapist's office, this is what happens. A fun reel about my recovery journey and the importance of injury prevention.

A reminder for my fellow creators and competitors. I'm not here to compete with you, because I genuinely want you to win too. There's space for all of us.

About Behind the Dance: My Journey

Running a business like TDC isn't just about the choreography, it's about the late nights, the injury recovery, and the constant balance between the grind in Bangalore and the hustle in New Jersey. Whether I'm teaching a packed studio class or prepping for a wedding season, I believe in showing up as my authentic self, chai in hand and ready to move.

People see the polished 60-second reels, but the reality is much more raw. Building a choreography business from scratch involves a lot of trial and error. This ranges from navigating physical therapy sessions to keep my body performance-ready, to sourcing the right studios in local hubs like Koramangala or Indiranagar. I don't just teach steps. I build a vibe. That's why I prioritize community feels in my workshops and focus on injury-safe movement patterns in my 1-on-1 coaching.

Whether you're a bride wanting a stress-free Sangeet performance or someone looking to find their rhythm in a BollyHop session, my goal is the same: to make you feel at home in your own skin. My approach is rooted in my journey as an Indian-American creator, blending the traditional with the contemporary to keep things fun, real, and accessible. You’ll find that my teaching style is high-energy but empathetic, grounded in the belief that dance is for everyone, regardless of skill level. When we work together, we aren't just training for an event. We're creating a moment that feels authentically yours.
