Theatrical & Storytelling Performances for Soulful Events
I weave music, poetry, and movement into intimate theatrical experiences. From chamber operas to experimental plays, my performances bring ancient narratives into a modern, multi-sensory space.

About Theatrical & Storytelling Performances
For my theatrical productions, I require specific technical setups—usually 4 to 5 hours for lighting focus and sound plotting—to ensure the stage translates my vision correctly. These aren't just concerts; they are scripted, immersive experiences that demand a black box theatre or an auditorium setting to truly resonate with the audience.
My approach to theatre is built on the concept of 'sangama'—a confluence of diverse ideas, languages, and art forms. Whether I am performing a chamber opera like 'Desdemona Roopakam' or a rehearsed reading of a contemporary play, I treat the stage as a canvas for storytelling.
I often weave together English, Kannada, and Tamil, pulling threads from Shakespeare, Kalidasa, and ancient epic poetry to explore themes of resilience and identity. The aural landscape is just as crucial as the script; I blend Hindustani and Carnatic classical music with rustic folk rhythms, often collaborating with fellow artists to create a multi-sensory environment.
Performance is a serious responsibility for me. I put immense care into rehearsals and staging, ensuring that every movement and musical cue serves the narrative. Because these shows rely on specific lighting cues, sound design, and stage props, they are best suited for venues equipped for intimacy—like black box theatres or smaller auditoriums where the audience is close enough to feel the weight of the stories being told.
If you are planning an event that seeks to move beyond the traditional stage show, I invite you to get in touch so we can discuss how to bring a piece of this theatrical world to your audience.
