My journey in the arts has always been about the people I work with and the stories we tell together. Having our album 'Songs For Broken Ships' listed for the German Record Critics’ Award and winning the Beyond Music 2024 selection—with our song 'SiMchezo' moving toward Grammy category consideration—has been an incredible experience. These moments are shared victories with the brilliant musicians, sound engineers, and creative collaborators who join me on stage.
Whether it is a theatre production in Bengaluru or a festival stage, my goal remains the same: to create something honest. I believe in the power of music to bridge gaps, whether it is blending Kannada vocals with electronic cello or bringing Vachanas to a new generation. Each award is a gentle nudge to continue this path of exploration, conversation, and storytelling.
