About this collection
My signs start with a simple chalk sketch directly on your wall or board. Because I use only oil-based synthetic enamel, the final result is glossy, durable, and weather-resistant, built to handle the Delhi climate for years. You will not find digital prints or vinyl stickers here; every stroke of 3D lettering and floral border is applied by hand, giving your entrance that distinct, textured depth that machines simply cannot replicate.
When you choose a hand-painted sign, you are choosing a piece of history. I do not use computers or vinyl cutters. Every project, whether it is for a boutique cafe in South Delhi or a residential nameplate, is designed in the style of traditional Indian truck art and vintage cinema posters. This means your sign has a unique character that catches the eye immediately.
Why Hand-Painted Matters
- Durability: I use high-quality enamel paints that resist fading and weathering, ideal for both indoor and outdoor signage.
- Multilingual Expertise: I am fluent in the scripts of Hindi, Urdu, English, Arabic, Sanskrit, and Farsi. I can combine these languages seamlessly on a single board, perfect for businesses that want to reach a diverse local audience.
- Texture and Depth: By using heavy-bodied paint and traditional 3D drop-shadow techniques, your lettering will literally pop off the surface.
The Process
Once you reach out, we discuss the message and the mood you want. I sketch the layout directly on-site or on the board using chalk. Once the composition is approved, I begin the brushwork, layering colors to create that classic glossy finish. For taller signs, please ensure scaffolding is available, and for indoor work, keep in mind there will be a strong paint odor during the first 48 to 72 hours as it dries. From commercial hoarding boards to personal home decor, I bring the art of the old lanes to your doorstep.
Kafeel Artist
I am Kafeel Artist, and I have spent my life mastering the art of the brush right here in the lanes of Old Delhi. Whether it is a vibrant shop sign in Urdu or a bold 3D nameplate in English, I put the same dedication into every stroke, honoring both my craft and the traditions I was taught.
