Adults need to play too. We hosted this adult playdate and clay workshop to give our trainees a space to slow down, get their hands messy, and reconnect with their own creativity. This is essential for anyone who wants to inspire creativity in children.
About The Academy Experience: 99% Play, 1% Theory
You will not find traditional lectures or rigid textbooks here. Instead, our training is built on the same 99% play, 1% theory methodology we use with our toddlers. You will spend your hours on the floor, getting your hands messy with clay, paint, and sensory bins, simulating the exact environment you will lead. This is how you learn to manage a classroom’s energy rather than just memorizing a curriculum.
Training That Gets Your Hands Messy
Most teacher training programs focus on theory, but children don't learn from lectures. They learn by touching, building, and exploring. Our Experiential Early Years Certificate is designed to help you reconnect with your own sense of wonder so you can bring that same energy to the classroom.
What You Will Master
- Sensory Play Mastery: We teach you the science behind sensory bins. You will learn to mix your own non-toxic paints, create rainbow dough, and set up water play stations that keep kids engaged.
- Makerspace Setup: Learn how to facilitate activities using real child-sized tools. We focus on building fine motor skills through activities that involve sawing, hammering, and constructing cardboard models.
- Classroom Dynamics: Learn techniques for handling separation anxiety and emotional regulation. We move away from traditional discipline and toward creating a space where kids feel safe enough to take risks.
Practical Experience & Placement
We believe you need time in the real world before you lead a room. That is why our course includes mandatory live classroom immersion. You will shadow senior teachers in our Toddler and Pre-Nursery batches in Bangalore and Kolkata to see how our play-based framework functions in real-time.
Upon completion, we provide placement assistance for teaching roles within our centers. You are not just taking a course; you are joining our community of educators who believe that learning is a lifelong journey.
