About Afterschool Enrichment Classes
How We Do Afternoons
I don’t believe in kids sitting quietly and just listening. At Openhouse, afternoons are all about getting messy, trying new things, and learning by doing. We mix play and purpose so kids actually want to show up. You’ll see them building, painting, making music, and sometimes just laughing their heads off.
What’s Inside Our Classes
- Robotics & STEM enrichment for kids: Little engineers build stuff like wind turbines and cranes, mess around with gears, and older ones even get a taste of Python.
- Public speaking for children: No boring speeches here. We use games like Improv Survival and Script Flip to help kids open up and get confident.
- Creative art workshops: From glow-in-the-dark painting to pottery and DIY rainmakers, we let imaginations run wild.
- Music: Kids learn notes and rhythm through games, and get to play ukulele or electronic drums.
- Strategic thinking: Chess and other games help with logic and planning.
Why It Matters
Every activity is designed to build real skills - problem-solving, teamwork, coordination, and creativity. Kids learn to experiment, fail, and try again. They get better at expressing themselves and working with others.
Our Community Vibe
We’re more than just classes. We host Open Day showcases so kids can show off what they’ve made. We celebrate festivals together, singing songs like Hacchevu Kannadada Deepa and Chandamama Raave. It’s a place to belong, not just learn.

My Story
Hey, we’re Openhouse. We wanted a place where learning feels like home - not just four walls. Here, kids get messy, make chapatis, watch dosas sizzle, and figure out wind turbines with their own hands. We’re all about play, care, culture (yep, we sing ‘Hacchevu Kannadada Deepa’ and dance around for every festival). Parents, you’re in the mix too. For us, it’s about growing up together - not just the kids, but all of us.
My Work
What We Offer - Preschool, daycare, parent-toddler club, afterschool playdates, hands-on extracurriculars like robotics, art, chess, and early childhood teacher training.
Learning is Play - Kids learn by doing, not just listening. Think bread pizza making, ghost experiments, pretend play - all part of our hands-on preschool activities.
Our Space - No boring classrooms here. We’ve got ball pits, art studios, sand pits - spaces to explore and move, not just sit.
Life Skills, Not Just ABCs - We focus on building social skills, confidence, practical life skills - all while having fun, in a playful learning center.
