Every box of cupcakes I send out starts with a choice of base: classic vanilla, rich double chocolate, or red velvet. I use stable American and Swiss Meringue Buttercreams to ensure the designs hold their shape, whether it is a delicate rosette or a playful seasonal theme like Christmas wreaths or candy canes.
