About Nrityanaari: A Space for Women
This isn't about perfecting steps or getting choreography right. In our sessions, we focus on somatic movement and breathwork to help you unwind and express whatever you are feeling. It is a strictly women-only, non-judgmental zone where the only goal is to let go and breathe a little easier.
Nrityanaari is our answer to the hustle of city life. We noticed that many women look for a place to vent, reset, and simply move without being judged for their technique. We designed these workshops to be completely different from traditional dance classes. There are no mirrors to worry about, no difficult steps to memorize, and certainly no pressure to perform.
We spend 90 to 120 minutes in a circle-based therapy style. The flow is simple: we start with guided breathwork to ground ourselves, move into gentle, expressive dance that encourages you to follow your own rhythm, and end with a sharing circle where we bond over the experience. Whether you are coming off a long work week or just need a creative outlet, this is your time to disconnect from expectations and reconnect with your inner self. You only need comfortable clothing and an open mind. We are based in Bengaluru and offer these sessions in intimate groups to ensure everyone feels heard and supported.
