Real, foraged ingredients from Northeast India. We source seasonal produce like fiddlehead ferns, ginger flowers, and stink beans for delivery in Ejipura and Koramangala.

Bundles of foraged greens, including fiddlehead ferns (Dhekia Xaak). These wild vegetables are a seasonal specialty and a core part of hill cuisine.

Fresh ginger flower buds, also known as torch ginger. These are used in salads and curries, providing a unique floral and pungent aroma.

About Unique & Foraged Items

These ingredients come exactly as they are in the hills—often with roots, some soil, or tied in traditional bundles. They are not washed for supermarket display, so you will need to clean them before cooking. This is how we ensure the texture and flavor remain intact without chemical treatments.

Authentic Hill Produce

We source these items from hill farms in the Northeast. Unlike hybrid varieties found in standard city supermarkets, our produce is heirloom quality. Because these are foraged or small-farm grown, availability changes with the season. One week you might find fresh fiddlehead ferns (Dhekia Xaak), and the next, ginger flower buds for your salad or curry.

Why 'Wet Market' Style Matters

We deliver items 'wet market' style. This means the roots are often left on, and the leaves might have some soil. It is the only way to keep them fresh during transit. We don't use preservatives or intensive cleaning processes that strip away the natural aroma and crunch.

What We Stock

  • Fiddlehead Ferns (Dhekia): Tightly coiled fronds. Best stir-fried.
  • Ginger Flower Buds: Used for a unique floral aroma in traditional dishes.
  • Yongchak (Stink Beans): Highly seasonal and pungent.
  • Spiky Wild Fruits: Rare, locally foraged items for specific traditional preparations.

How To Order

Since our stocks rotate based on what is available at the farm gate, our catalog changes weekly. If you have a specific dish in mind, ask us what is fresh before you order. We focus on getting it from the hill source to your kitchen in Ejipura or Koramangala as quickly as possible.
