A mix of red, orange, and green Bhut Jolokia, or ghost peppers. These are some of the hottest chillies in the world, and I source them directly for authentic Naga and Assamese dishes.

A basket of Tamarillo, also known as tree tomatoes. Their tangy flavor is perfect for making chutneys or sour fish and meat curries.
A basket of fresh Amla, or Indian gooseberries. These are very sour and are used to make pickles, chutneys, and are also eaten for their health benefits.

About Fruits & Chillies
Our fresh Bhut Jolokia pods are sourced directly from hill farms, so heat intensity varies by batch. We recommend wearing gloves while prepping, especially with the red, fully ripe ones. If you are planning a specific dish, ask us which colour is currently in stock to match your recipe's spice profile.
Finding consistent, high-quality Northeast ingredients in Bangalore is difficult, which is why we handle the sourcing ourselves. Because we deal in seasonal produce, our inventory fluctuates—what you see today might be different next week.
Our Bhut Jolokia chillies come directly from Nagaland and Manipur hill farms. You get them raw, packed simply to hold moisture. Green pods offer a sharper, more vegetal heat, while red pods bring a deeper, fruitier burn that works better for long-simmered curries.
We also stock hill fruits like Tamarillo (tree tomato) and Amla when the harvest cycles allow. Tamarillo is essential for the specific tang found in many Northeast chutneys and stews, while Amla is a staple for pickles. Because these are foraged or farm-harvested, they do not follow a mass-market supply chain.
We deliver locally within a 3km radius of Ejipura and Koramangala. Since we prioritize freshness, we do not hold large stocks that sit on shelves. If you have a specific recipe in mind, send us a message to check what we have just brought in from the hills.
