About this collection
While the soul of our food remains our 100-year-old Bhendi Bazaar recipes, our Kurla branch offers something extra. It is the only place where you can pair our legendary Nalli Nihari and Chicken Sanju Baba with exclusive Tawa items and a selection of Chinese dishes.
Opening this branch was a big step for us. We wanted to make sure that whether you are a long-time regular from town or a new neighbor in Kurla, the experience feels right. The recipes for our Nalli Nihari, Mutton Haleem, and our signature Chicken Sanju Baba have not changed one bit. We source the same ingredients and use the same slow-cooking methods that my great-grandfather started in 1923.
The big difference here is the space. We have added a dedicated Dastarkhan hall for families who prefer traditional floor seating. Plus, we realized people in this part of Mumbai like a wider variety, so we introduced select Tawa specialties and Chinese dishes that you will not find at our original hotel. It is a new home, but with the same heart. We still do not do reservations, so just drop by whenever you are hungry.

We have been feeding Mumbai since 1923, and this Kurla branch is our way of staying close to you. I personally ensure that every pot of Nihari or Sanju Baba that leaves our kitchen tastes exactly like it did at my grandfather’s shop.
