Interior Design & Build Process
From the first 3D sketch to the final site installation, I manage every stage of your interior project. Here is how I turn design concepts into real, finished spaces.
A 3D model showing the design for an office's file storage and reception desk area. This visualization includes precise measurements for custom cabinetry.
A cross-section view from a 3D model, used to plan structural details like archways and wall niches before construction begins.
This video shows my team at work on a project in RR Nagar, Bangalore. You can see the process of building custom cabinetry and preparing surfaces for finishing.
More on-site footage from the RR Nagar project. This video highlights various stages of custom carpentry, from framing wardrobes and creating decorative panels to installing a complex false ceiling.
About this collection
I don't just hand over a design and walk away. Every project starts with 3D visualizations that we use to finalize dimensions and material placement before a single tool hits the site. This way, you aren't guessing how the furniture will fit or how the ceiling lights will align. You see the exact plan before we start the build.
My design and build process is built on eliminating the gap between the screen and the site. Too many projects fail because the person designing isn't the person supervising the carpentry or the electrical layout. I bridge that gap by handling the end-to-end execution.
The 3D Planning Phase
Before we begin any work, we create detailed 3D models. This isn't just for aesthetics. We use these models to check for spatial constraints, like whether a drawer unit will clash with a door or if the lighting placement creates shadows in a meeting room. This phase identifies potential problems so we can solve them on paper rather than at the construction stage.
On-Site Execution
Once the design is locked, my team moves to the site. This is where the real work happens. Whether it is a luxury villa in Bangalore or a commercial office in Mumbai, I manage the site actively. We focus on the precision of carpentry, the quality of wiring, and the finish of acoustic panels.
Quality Control
Because I am involved in the build, I ensure that the materials used on-site match the initial specifications. We check the vitrified tiles, the laminate thickness on cabinets, and the installation of false ceilings daily. This transparency means you get what you approved in the 3D plan, with no hidden compromises in material quality or construction shortcuts. You get a space that works as well as it looks.
Nikhil Interiors
I have been sketching out floor plans since I was 14, and I still approach every project with that same obsession for detail. I handle the entire build myself, from the concepts and 3D planning to the on-site execution, so the final result matches exactly what we planned.
