Functional Workspace Fitout
Space Planning & Civil Basics
- Layout: High efficiency open plan layout focusing on maximum seat utilization such as cubicles or linear clusters.
- Flooring: Supply and installation of double charged vitrified tiles (600x600mm) in neutral colors like Beige or Grey. Includes skirting.
- Ceiling: Standard grid false ceiling (2ft x 2ft) using mineral fiber tiles for easy maintenance and acoustic dampening.
- Painting: 2 coats of premium emulsion on walls and enamel paint for metal surfaces.
Furniture & Carpentry
- Workstations: Modular workstations using 25mm pre laminated particle board tops with PVC edge banding. Includes metal legs and fabric privacy screens.
- Storage: Standard localized pedestal units (3 drawer metal or wood) and perimeter file storage cabinets with laminate finish.
- Doors: Flush doors with laminate finish and standard hardware locks.
Glass & Partitions
- Cabins & Meeting Rooms: Partitions using powder coated aluminium sections with 8mm clear float glass.
- Blinds: Standard roller blinds for external windows.
Electrical & Lighting
- Lighting: 2ft x 2ft recessed LED panel lights integrated into the grid ceiling (Commercial grade, 36W/40W).
- Connectivity: Power and Data (CAT6) points provided at skirting level or raceways on workstation legs.
Premium Acoustic Corporate Design
Signature Aesthetic & Acoustics
- Acoustic Wall Treatment: Installation of fabric gripper systems with high density acoustic infill like glass wool or polyester wadding on meeting room and boardroom walls.
- Feature Walls: Decorative cladding using fluted MDF panels finished in PU/Duco paint or textured laminates.
- Ceiling Design: Mix of gypsum false ceiling for cabins and open ceiling concepts with exposed ducting painted Black or Grey, fitted with suspended acoustic baffles.
Premium Flooring & Glazing
- Flooring: Heavy duty Nylon carpet tiles (500x500mm) for sound absorption in work areas and patterned tiling or vinyl in reception areas.
- Partitions: Floor to ceiling 12mm toughened glass (frameless) with stainless steel patch fittings and frosted film branding.
Bespoke Furniture & Joinery
- Reception: Custom designed curved reception desk constructed of plywood with Corian or Veneer finish and integrated strip lighting.
- Workstations: Premium desking systems with metal loop legs, wire management raceways, and acoustic fabric screens.
- Conference Room: Custom large format conference table with integrated connectivity boxes and ergonomic mesh back chairs.
Lighting & Electrical Upgrade
- Lighting: Architectural lighting package including suspended linear profile lights, track lights for feature walls, and designer acoustic pendant lights.
- HVAC: Grille and diffuser adjustments for ductable units to match the open ceiling aesthetic.

I've always believed that the smallest things can make or break a space. For me, commercial interior design isn't just about the big picture. The finish on a wall, the way a door closes, how light bounces in a meeting room - these details shape how people feel when they step inside. I started sketching spaces as a kid, and that same curiosity pushes me to focus on every tiny part now.

Acoustics - Not an Afterthought
If you’ve ever worked in a noisy office, you know how distracting it gets. That’s why I pay extra attention to office acoustic solutions. I use things like fabric wall paneling and soundproof ceilings, but I make sure they look good too. Materials like fluted panels and acoustic pendant lights help with sound and add style.
