This modern commercial lounge in Bangalore is designed for both collaboration and relaxation. The custom acoustic pendant lights are a key feature, reducing ambient noise while adding a strong visual element to the space.
Here is a look at a complete open-plan office I designed. The layout includes modular workstations for focused tasks, a comfortable breakout area with the blue sofa for informal meetings, and carefully planned lighting to create a productive atmosphere.

The Process
My projects—like the RGA Tech Park boardroom or the 'Me Phone' retail store—don't just happen. We start with 3D plans. You see the grid ceiling, the workstation placement, and the lighting long before my team arrives on site. This keeps the project on track and within budget.
Commercial Focus Areas
- Acoustics: I address noise control early. I use fabric wall panels, fluted MDF, and acoustic pendant lights to ensure meeting rooms and boardrooms are distraction-free.
- Modular Fitouts: For modern offices, I prioritize open-plan layouts with high-density workstation clusters. I use standard 25mm pre-laminated particle board with PVC edge banding to balance cost and durability.
- Retail: I build retail spaces to sell product. This means custom display shelving, sales counters, and targeted lighting that draws the eye.
