Pole Fitness & Sport Classes in BTM Layout
Discover how pole sport builds real strength and confidence, even if you are a total beginner. We keep our BTM Layout studio welcoming and focused on step-by-step progress for everyone.
This is what pole fitness is all about. In this video, a student practices a controlled spin, learning how to use her momentum and build core strength. My classes are designed to help you master foundational moves like this, turning a full-body workout into an exciting form of dance.
About Pole Fitness & Sport
The most important thing to know before your first class is that skin grip is everything. You will need to wear shorts and a sports bra because the pole relies on skin-to-metal contact to keep you safe while you climb and spin. It feels a bit exposed at first, but once you start moving, you will realize it is entirely functional and keeps you secure on the equipment.
We call our sessions 'polesport' because they are a full-body workout disguised as fun. You do not need to be strong or flexible to start, as we build your conditioning and grip strength incrementally. Our classes in BTM Layout are designed for everyone, from total novices to those looking to refine their technique.
What to Expect
We run beginner-friendly batches where we focus on foundational moves, including walking around the pole, basic grips, and static spins. As you progress, we introduce climbing techniques and, eventually, inversions using crash mats for safety. Because we limit our batch sizes to ensure you get enough time on the apparatus, you never feel rushed or left behind.
Studio Environment
Our studio is equipped with stainless steel poles that can switch between static and spinning modes. We keep the floor laminate and mirrors clean, and the atmosphere is always supportive. You will find that our members cheer each other on, sharing laughs while pushing their limits. Whether you are aiming for a specific move or just want a new way to sweat, you will find a judgment-free space to try something new.
Practical Details
We provide the poles and crash mats, but remember to bring knee pads, which are highly recommended for floor work. We focus on technique over just strength, so you can expect a balanced session that leaves you feeling accomplished, not just tired. If you are nervous, do not worry, da. You are not alone, and we are here to guide you every step of the way.
