Student Piano Performances at Nathaniel School of Music
Watch our students perform contemporary hits and classics, demonstrating the technique, theory, and musicality they develop through our Music Method program.
Watch our advanced student, Naman Arun Prasad, perform Ludovico Einaudi's iconic piece, "Experience." This performance demonstrates the expressive playing and technical control that students develop in our 6-month advanced Music Method course, which integrates theory, ear training, and improvisation.
Here, our student Anupama performs Billie Eilish's "What Was I Made For?" from the "Barbie" movie, accompanied by Naman on the piano. This is a great example of how we train students to perform contemporary songs with emotional depth and solid technique.
Our Europe Piano batch took on the ragtime classic "The Entertainer." This piece helped them sharpen their notation reading and build finger dexterity. Abhirup's standout performance shows the confidence and skill gained through our guided online classes.
Here's another great assignment from our Europe Piano batch. Sai adds her personal touch to a solo piano arrangement of The Beatles' "With a Little Help from My Friends," demonstrating how we blend guided learning with creative tasks to help every student grow.
Our student Arjun performs the iconic "River Flows in You" by Yiruma. In our Music Method course, students can customize their learning with 40, 50, or 65 hours of instruction, studying their chosen instrument alongside theory, ear training, and overall musicianship.
We encourage students to develop skills for both playing and singing. Here, our talented student Aadya Vivek plays and sings "Yellow Submarine" by The Beatles, a skill we cover throughout our Music Method semester with specific exercises and rhythm patterns.
In this Independence Day special, our intermediate student Komalpreet Kaur performs a beautiful piano mashup of two patriotic songs, "Teri Mitti" and "Bharat Humko Jaan Se Pyara." This showcases her ability to blend different melodies into a cohesive arrangement.
Our student Vinisha works on a lovely piano accompaniment for "Songbird" by Fleetwood Mac. In our courses, we emphasize both solo playing and accompaniment skills to develop well-rounded pianists.
Inspired by Beethoven's "Moonlight Sonata," The Beatles' song "Because" is a great piece for exploring lush harmonies. Here, our student Akash Verma puts in a super effort after we covered this song in our Music Method class.
Here is a creative piano fusion of "Boulevard of Broken Dreams" by Green Day and "Blinding Lights" by The Weeknd, performed by our student Komalpreet Kaur. This demonstrates the versatility our students gain to tackle different genres.
About Piano Performances
You will notice that our students do not just memorize finger patterns. In these videos, you are seeing the result of our structured Music Method, which forces you to understand chord structures, ear training, and rhythm alongside your repertoire. Whether you are a total beginner or an advanced player looking for technique refinement, we ensure your piano playing is backed by solid theory and musical intuition.
At Nathaniel School of Music, we move away from rote learning. Our 6-month flagship Music Method course is designed to turn you into a complete musician, not just a performer. We treat the piano as a vehicle for understanding harmony, theory, and improvisation.
What makes our piano training different:
- Holistic Curriculum: You do not just learn songs. You get 20 hours of instrument training paired with 12 hours of musicianship, covering theory, ear training, and rhythm practice.
- Balanced Approach: We focus heavily on hand independence and accompaniment skills. As seen in our student performances, we encourage you to sing while playing and master different genres, from rock classics to movie scores.
- Studio Experience: We believe in performance. You get to record tracks in our professional, acoustically treated studios, helping you build confidence and hear your own progress clearly.
- Flexible Learning: Whether you prefer the energy of our centers in Langford Town or Sahakar Nagar in Bangalore, or the convenience of our live, interactive online batches, the quality remains consistent. We use HD recordings, PDF notes, and personalized video feedback so you never feel lost.
From learning the basics of finger dexterity to exploring complex music composition, we provide a clear, step-by-step path tailored to your goals.
