About Specialized Music Workshops

Music goes way deeper than just playing notes. Here, it’s about really understanding what makes music tick—why a song works, how it feels, and the ideas behind the sound. These specialized workshops are for anyone who wants to dig in and become a better, more thoughtful musician.

What We Dive Into

Each workshop is a short, focused burst—no drawn-out courses. I pick a topic, artist, or skill and we really break it down.
We do artist-focused song breakdowns (think Beatles, Coldplay), dig into songwriting secrets, and even analyze what makes a “hit.”
Technique-based music training sessions run like a gym for your fingers and brain: chord tricks, rhythm hacks, new patterns each month.
There are themed group music classes around holidays, current events, or even student requests—sometimes it gets quirky!
Total beginner? No problem. I run a beginner music exploration workshop covering the basics, from melody to ear training.

How It Works

Most workshops are live, interactive music theory sessions online (so you can join from anywhere), plus in-person options in Bangalore.
You get session recordings, my handwritten notes, and assignments. For some, I’ll send personal feedback on your playing.
You’ll also join our student community for support, sharing, and maybe a little friendly competition.

My Story

Hey, we’re Nathaniel School of Music. Started out 17 years back, and now, look at us – 6,000+ students, some bringing their kids too! My mom Lillian’s here, coaching voices and sharing her wisdom. We’re not about making robots who just read notes. Our thing? Full-on musicianship. From Beatles to Nusrat, we get into the real stuff: theory, ear training, jamming, lots of ‘aha’ moments. Whether you’re at our Bangalore studio or online, it’s always a musical family vibe.
