Student Rockstars: Live & Online Performance Showcases
From Metallica solos to classic piano pieces, see our students turn their hard work into stage magic. This is where the practice pays off.
The drummers were in the house and grooving hard at our recent recital at Atta Galatta in Bangalore. It's always a blast to see our rhythm section holding it down on a live stage.
More highlights from another one of our live recitals. The energy of a live audience is something else, and I make sure my students get to experience it. Look at them go!
Here are some awesome moments from our live recital at Alliance Francaise Bangalore. We had students on drums, guitar, and more, all showing off what they've learned. The confidence on stage is what it's all about.
I have to show this one again. 11-year-old Reyaansh with the 'Master of Puppets' solo. This is a perfect example of how our online guitar coaching can help you achieve unbelievable things from anywhere in the world.
And here he is again! Reyaansh, this time tackling the monster solo from Megadeth's 'Tornado of Souls'. This kid's dedication is inspiring, and I'm here for it.
Another one from the amazing Reyaansh, this time playing Joe Satriani's 'Starry Night' with so much style and feel. It's a joy to mentor young talent and watch them find their own voice on the guitar.
Check out Sachit Kumar playing his take on Elton John's 'I'm Still Standing'. It's a tricky song with some cool piano chords, and he's handling it like a pro. Great stuff!
Here's Yaashi playing 'Arabian Nights' from Aladdin. This piece has some sophisticated piano parts, and she's navigating them beautifully. It's great to see students take on challenging and fun pieces.
This is 7-year-old Advik Sharma playing a classic tune with so much style. It's never too early to start, and our beginner piano lessons are designed to be fun and engaging for our youngest learners.
Advik Sharma again, this time with a flawless performance of 'Allegro in C' by Johann Hasller. He's paying attention to dynamics and everything. So proud of this little guy's progress.
About Student Rockstars: Live & Online Performances
See your kid or yourself on stage before you even finish your first grade. Whether it is a packed hall at Atta Galatta or a cozy Zoom recital, I do not keep these performances under wraps. It is all about building that stage confidence early, with real audiences and actual feedback, not just dry exam prep.
Learning an instrument in isolation is fine, but music is meant to be shared. That is why we host weekly recitals—yes, we have hit well over 148 of them. These are not stuffy school functions where everyone plays the same boring scale. Whether you are shredding a Metallica solo at 11 or mastering an Elton John hit on the piano, the goal is to get comfortable with the spotlight.
Why perform?
Because the stage is the best teacher. When you know you are playing for an audience, your focus shifts. You stop just 'practicing' and start 'performing.' It turns music into a conversation, not just a homework assignment.
Online vs. Offline
We do both. Our online recitals have connected students from all over, giving them a virtual stage that is just as high-pressure and rewarding as the real thing. Whether you are jamming from our Yelahanka studio or joining us from your living room, the vibe remains the same: no judgment, just music.
The Taaqademy Vibe
We believe in 'full josh' and supporting every player, whether it is their first recital or their fiftieth. You will see students from Basavanna Nagar to Whitefield, and even international students, jumping into our jam sessions. It is about building a community where playing a wrong note is just part of the process, not a failure. If you are ready to stop hiding in the bedroom and start playing, come say hello.
Taaqademy
I am Bruce Lee Mani, and my team at Taaqademy is not about rote learning. We are a bunch of working musicians who genuinely want to see you play songs you actually love. Come hang out, jam, and see why we keep things real.
