When you book a performance with us, you are getting a complete production, not just a dance set. For our large-scale dance dramas like 'Krishna' or 'Nava Durga', we manage the technical flow of the event—including lighting cue sheets for your venue engineer and backstage coordination for costume changes—allowing you to focus on your guests while we handle the artistry on stage.
Our Approach to Performance
At Natesha Nrithyalaya, we believe dance is a form of devotion, or 'Sadhana'. Whether it is a short invocation for an opening ceremony or a 90-minute theatrical production, our focus remains on authentic storytelling. We do not just perform steps; we use classical Bharatanatyam to narrate epics, bringing myths like the cosmic dance of Shiva or the leelas of Krishna to life through movement, music, and emotion.
Production Scale & Flexibility
We cater to various event requirements with specific production tiers:
- Intimate Performances: Solo or duet presentations perfect for corporate inaugurations or smaller family gatherings.
- Thematic Ensembles: 8 to 10-member groups performing synchronized sets like 'Nava Durga', ideal for cultural festivals or large events requiring high-energy visuals.
- Grand Dance Dramas: Our most immersive offering, featuring 12 to 15 performers, character-specific couture from the Natyambara boutique, and the option for a 5-piece live classical orchestra. These productions require a deeper level of planning, including sound checks and stage management, which our team oversees.
Logistics and Quality Assurance
We maintain a high standard for aesthetics across all performances. We use professional stage-ready makeup and premium temple jewelry to ensure a striking visual presence. For music, we provide high-definition pre-recorded audio for standard sets, while our grand productions come with the option of live accompaniment (mridangam, vocals, flute, and violin). We include travel within Bangalore city limits and ensure our technical coordinator is on-site to bridge the gap between our performance and your venue's infrastructure. If you are planning an event at a specific temple or auditorium, we are accustomed to adapting our choreography to the unique space and sacred nature of the environment.
