Authentic Homemade Mango and Mixed Vegetable Achar

This is my classic homemade aam ka achar, just like my mother and grandmother used to make. The raw mango pieces are mixed with a generous amount of organic masalas, ready to be sun-dried.
My homemade mango pickle is made without any vinegar, using only pure kachi ghani oil from the village and organic masalas. People say it's pricey, but I will never compromise on quality.

About Classic Mango & Mixed Veg Achar
When you open a jar of our classic mango or 11-veg mix, you will see the spices clinging to every piece, not swimming in vinegar. Because we use traditional sun-drying and zero preservatives, the flavor matures beautifully over time. If you prefer it less oily or want an extra spicy kick, just let me know when you order—I make every batch fresh just for you.
My Nani taught me that good achaar needs time, sunshine, and patience. We don't believe in machines or mass-production, so my kitchen stays small and authentic.
The Authentic Process
- Classic Mango Achar: I use raw, skin-on mangoes that hold their crunch even after marination. The masala mix is organic and generous, and we use real Kachi Ghani (cold-pressed) mustard oil. This gives it that deep, pungent kick you simply won't find in mass-produced supermarket jars.
- The 11-Veg Mix: This is a true labour of love. We chop cauliflower, carrots, radish, turnips, green chillies, and more into bite-sized pieces. It is tangy, crunchy, and the perfect side for your daily dal-chawal.
Why No Preservatives?
You won't find vinegar or chemical preservatives in my kitchen. We rely entirely on the purity of the oil and the drying process for preservation. This ensures a shelf life of about 12 months, and honestly, the flavour actually gets better the longer you keep the jar on your shelf.
