We host open mic nights every Sunday in Koramangala where anyone can perform music, poetry, or comedy, get pro video and photos of their set, and join a supportive crowd with regular themed events and challenges.

Audience Entry Pass
Access & Timing
- Full entry to Rock The Stage or standard Open Mic events.
- Duration is approximately 2 to 2.5 hours (typically Sunday evenings).
Seating & Atmosphere
- Casual unreserved seating using a mix of plastic chairs, stools, and floor cushions.
- Intimate studio setting with basic acoustic treatment and stage lighting.
- Note: The venue has a barefoot policy for the main performance area.

Performance Details
- Strictly timed stage slot of 4 to 6 minutes.
- Open to singers, bands, rappers, poets, and comedians.
- Includes pre-event sound check (Line check for bands, basic check for solos).
Backline & Equipment
- House Gear: Acoustic drum kit, keyboard stand, and guitar/bass amplifiers provided.
- Audio: Professional PA system, dynamic microphones, and floor monitors.
- Requirement: Performers must bring their own guitars, keyboards, pedalboards, and cables.
Competition Perks
- Automatic entry into the event challenge.
- Winner: Cash prize (approx. INR 1,000) and future gig opportunity.
- Runners-up: Professional audio/video recording files of the performance.

Every Sunday in Koramangala, I see people step up and surprise themselves. Our open mic night isn’t just about music - it’s everything from live music performances to poetry and comedy acts. It’s messy, loud, supportive, sometimes a bit chaotic, but always fun. We’re a bunch of folks who love cheering for anyone brave enough to grab the mic.
What You’ll Find Here
- Stage time for singers, bands, rappers, solo musicians, poets, storytellers, and comedians.
- 4-6 minutes each, your moment to go wild (or keep it mellow, your call).
- Show starts at 5:30 PM sharp. Late? Sorry, slots fill up quick.
- We handle the mics and sound - you bring your instrument if you need one.

My Story
Hey, welcome to My School of Rock. We kicked off just wanting a spot where literally anyone could feel what it’s like to be on stage. Our first ‘Rock the Stage’ open mic, man, the buzz was wild – still is, even after 150 shows. We’ve had folks belting out Kannada songs like ‘Neene Beku’, poets pouring their hearts out in Hindi, all barefoot, all real. This space is for Bangalore’s own – every story, every sound, just come as you are.
