About Music Lessons
Why We're Here
I started My School Of Rock because I wanted a place where music feels real, not rigid. If you're picturing a strict classroom, forget it. It's laid-back, shoes-off, and all about finding your sound with people who get you. You’ll bump into folks from all over Bangalore just hanging out and playing.
How We Teach
- No cookie-cutter stuff. If you want beginner guitar classes, ukulele, drums, piano, vocals, flute, or even music production lessons, we’ve got you covered.
- Fast-track workshops (90 minutes, instruments provided), private sessions for intense focus, weekend group jam sessions that feel more like a party, and kids music camps every summer.
- Most classes are made for total beginners. If you’ve struggled with YouTube tutorials, trust me, you’re not alone - we keep it simple.
What You’ll Learn (and What You Won’t)
- No endless theory. We teach you essential chords, strumming, and scales, but the real goal is for you to play actual songs you love.
- Singing and instrument workshops mean you’ll learn to sing and play at the same time. It's tricky but fun.
Beyond the Lessons
It’s more than just learning notes. You’ll get a shot at open mics, jamming with others, and real stage experience. If you’re up for a little masti (fun), there’s always a crowd ready to cheer you on.

My Story
Hey, welcome to My School of Rock. We kicked off just wanting a spot where literally anyone could feel what it’s like to be on stage. Our first ‘Rock the Stage’ open mic, man, the buzz was wild – still is, even after 150 shows. We’ve had folks belting out Kannada songs like ‘Neene Beku’, poets pouring their hearts out in Hindi, all barefoot, all real. This space is for Bangalore’s own – every story, every sound, just come as you are.
