About The Candlelit Experience
When you walk in for a candlelit session, you leave your shoes at the door and the outside noise behind. We run these nights to strip away the usual performance pressure. You will find a mix of poets, solo singer-songwriters, and storytellers sharing raw, honest work, while our team handles the professional audio and live-video recording so you can focus entirely on your craft.
Why We Do It
Music and spoken word often get lost in loud, crowded bars. We wanted to create a space in Bangalore where the focus remains on the artist and the story. By using candlelight and a smaller, acoustic-focused setup, we create a room that demands silence and respect for every performer.
The Atmosphere
Our studio in Koramangala transforms for these evenings. We use flameless LED candles to create a warm, low-light environment. It is a barefoot space, which helps everyone feel grounded and relaxed. Whether you are a poet reading from your notebook or a musician playing a classical guitar piece, the setting allows your art to take center stage without the distraction of heavy stage production.
What Performers Get
We keep the focus on quality and comfort. Every performer gets a 4 to 6 minute slot. We provide a professional PA system, microphones, and monitors. More importantly, we record your set, so you walk away with video and audio proof of your performance. If you are a soloist or a storyteller, this is the best environment to test new material or refine your set in front of a truly listening audience.
