Pricing Guide
Acoustic Instrument & Vocal Workshop (90 Mins)
Studio & Equipment
- Facility: Air conditioned, sound treated jam room in Koramangala.
- Gear: Standard acoustic guitar or ukulele provided for use (no personal instrument needed).
- Setting: Group seating (semi circle) with printed chord sheets provided.
Curriculum
- Warm up: Introduction to 'Spider Walk' finger dexterity drills.
- Theory: Fretboard mapping and major/minor open chords (C, G, D, Em).
- Rhythm: Basic strumming patterns including down/up stroke techniques.
- Outcome: Application of chords to play one complete song by end of session.
Drums & Percussion Rhythm Session (90 Mins)
Gear & Tools
- Kit Access: Rotation based usage of 5 piece acoustic drum kit or Cajon.
- Practice Tools: Rubber practice pads for group rudiment drills.
- Accessories: Drumsticks provided for the duration of the workshop.
Technique Training
- Fundamentals: Matched grip techniques and posture correction.
- Coordination: Synchronization exercises for hands (snare/hi hat) and feet (bass drum).
- Rhythm: Learning the standard 4/4 Rock Beat and basic transitions.
- Format: 90 minute session alternating between pad drills and kit application.
Digital Music & DJing Workshop (120 Mins)
Requirements & Setup
- Device: Participant must bring personal laptop (BYOD).
- Software: Assistance with installation of drivers and free mixing/DAW software.
- Audio: Connection to studio monitors for output testing.
Technical Modules
- DJ Focus: Beat matching, phrase matching, and EQ mixing techniques.
- Production Focus: MIDI arrangement, virtual instruments, and loop sequencing.
- Duration: 2 hours of technical instruction and practical application.
- Output: Creation of a short recorded mix or arranged track segment.

I run music workshops for anyone who's ever thought, "Can I actually play an instrument?" In just 90 minutes, you get to walk in with curiosity and walk out having played your first song. No serious, sit-up-straight classes - it's just people, music, and a lot of fun.

My Story
Hey, welcome to My School of Rock. We kicked off just wanting a spot where literally anyone could feel what it’s like to be on stage. Our first ‘Rock the Stage’ open mic, man, the buzz was wild – still is, even after 150 shows. We’ve had folks belting out Kannada songs like ‘Neene Beku’, poets pouring their hearts out in Hindi, all barefoot, all real. This space is for Bangalore’s own – every story, every sound, just come as you are.
