About this collection
Our Western music classes are built on a student-led approach, meaning whether you are training for a Trinity exam or just want to play your favourite songs, we meet you where you are. We keep our batches limited to 3-5 students, ensuring you get actual attention from your mentor during every session, with professional instruments like our Roland and Yamaha keyboards ready for you to use in the studio.
Learning an instrument shouldn't feel like a heavy academic task. At Myna, we turn the learning process into a form of expression.
Meet Your Mentors
Our mentors are active industry professionals who bring their real-world experience to the studio. You might be learning Western vocal technique from Amanda Ferreira, who focuses on the mechanics of the voice to help you sing comfortably, or picking up the piano with Sanjay Parghi, a sound engineer who integrates fun musical games into every lesson. For guitar enthusiasts, the legendary Arvind Haldipur guides students through their first chords with decades of stage experience.
The Myna Approach
- Small Batches: With only 3-5 students per class, you won't get lost in a crowd. Your mentor will guide you at your own pace, focusing on your specific roadblocks.
- No Pressure: We understand that music is part of your rozmarra ki zindagi (everyday life). We focus on building your base of repertoire so you can sing for friends or play at home, rather than just obsessing over grades.
- Tools of the Trade: You don't need to haul an instrument to class. We provide Roland and Yamaha keyboards and acoustic guitars for your use during the session.
Whether you are an adult returning to an old passion or a beginner taking your first steps, we provide the space and the mentorship. The atmosphere is relaxed, non-judgmental, and focused on stress relief. If you are looking for that extra push, we also offer guidance for Trinity College London and Rock School exams, but we believe that your love for music is the most important qualification.
Myna
We built Myna to be the space where music feels less like a strict exam and more like a conversation. Whether you are learning from Amanda, Sanjay, or Arvind, our mentors are active performers who care more about your connection to the music than just ticking off syllabus boxes.
