About For Our Myna Minis: Music & More for Kids
Here, we ditch the rigid syllabus. Our 'Stage Stars' and 'Tunes & Tumbles' modules focus on play-based learning where mistakes aren't just allowed—they are part of the fun. Whether your child is finding their first rhythm or learning to express themselves on stage, they do it in a small group where the goal is self-expression, not grades.
At Myna, we believe that 'Happiness through Expression' starts young. Our Myna Minis program is built for children aged 3 to 8, creating a space where music and movement feel like a natural part of their rozmarra ki zindagi (everyday life).
How we learn We move away from standard 'classes' and think in terms of modules. Our 'Stage Stars' program runs in dedicated modules that mix Hindustani classical basics—introducing concepts like sur (melody) and taal (rhythm)—with Bollyhop, theatre games, and creative movement. It is not about perfect pitch; it is about finding the courage to step onto the stage.
Our core kids' programs:
- Tunes & Tumbles (Ages 3-6): This is all about music, movement, and developing motor skills. We use music as a tool to help them explore their world.
- Stage Stars (Ages 5-8): A deeper dive into the performing arts. We combine theatre games to build confidence with vocal warm-ups and dance sequences. Every module ends with a small, pressure-free showcase for parents.
- Instrumental Basics: For kids ready to pick up an instrument, we offer piano lessons that focus on proper hand positioning and simple melodies, keeping the joy alive while learning technical skills.
We know how busy life in Mumbai can get. That is why our batches are intentionally kept small (3-5 students). This ensures your child gets individual attention from our gurus without the crowd.
