What a magical first chapter it’s been! This video is a look back at our first year, from soulful music workshops to expressive dance, celebrating the community of artists and creators who made it unforgettable.
One of the key lessons from our first year: it's never too early or too late to start. From early childhood movement to adult beginners, we've learned that creativity finds you exactly when you're ready.
Another lesson learned: finding your voice is a journey. Our vocal classes, from Bollywood to Choral, have taught us that singing isn't just about notes; it's about courage, consistency, and self-belief.
Every note teaches patience. In our Guitar & Piano classes, we've seen how instrumental music builds focus, rhythm, and the joy of creating music one note at a time.
About this collection
We designed our academy with traditional 'baithak' style floor seating and air-conditioned, sound-treated studios like 'Bhairavi' and 'Malhar' to help you leave the city's chaos at the door. It is not just about the classes; it is about having a comfortable, cozy environment where you can focus entirely on your riyaaz or dance steps without feeling judged.
A Home for Creativity
When we started Myna in 2025, we wanted to move away from the intimidating, rigid structure of traditional performing arts schools. We believe that art is a part of your rozmarra ki zindagi (everyday life), and our space in Khar West reflects that.
We have created five dedicated classrooms, each named after a raag to keep the musical spirit alive within our walls:
- Bhairavi: Our dedicated vocal space for exploring notes and melodies.
- Malhar: A multi-purpose studio for piano, choral singing, and creative writing.
- Megh: Used for guitar sessions and vocal training.
- Yaman: Our classical vocal classroom, equipped to double as a recording studio.
- Darbari: The largest studio, designed for dance, drama, and weekend workshops.
