Music is all about the rhythm of life. Whether you are picking up a guitar for the first time or want to train your vocals for the stage, I help you build actual skills, not just theory. Let us find your groove.

This is a Level 1 guitar tutorial for the song 'Chota Hoon Main'. We demonstrate a simple Waltz strumming pattern and the two basic chords, E Major and A Major, making it easy for beginners to start singing while playing the guitar.

This is a beginner's vocal range exercise demonstrated on the guitar. We guide students through both the Indian 'Sargam' and Western 'Solfege' scales to help them understand notes and expand their vocal capabilities.

Here, we are conducting a vocal range test for our student Jiya using the guitar. This exercise, based on the Indian Sargam pattern in Key C, helps us assess her vocal strengths and areas for improvement.

This is the second exercise in our vocal training series, focusing on improving low notes. The demonstration on the guitar in Key C provides a clear melodic guide for students to follow and strengthen their lower register.

A raw, beautiful piano cover of the song 'Dandelions' by our talented student Jiya. This showcases the progress our students make in Western vocal performance, capturing emotion and melody.

About Strum & Sing: Guitar and Western Vocals

I do not care if you have zero experience. We start with the basics, like getting your finger placement right for major chords or controlling your breath for Western scales. You will be playing and singing simple tracks in your first few sessions, because my goal is to get you performing, not just reading notes.

Learning an instrument or training your voice is a journey that requires patience, not shortcuts. At Nitz Music Academy, we bridge the gap between Indian classical foundations and Western styles. We use a mix of Sargam and Solfege exercises to ensure you understand notes deeply, which makes playing English pop songs or mastering Western vocals much easier.

My teaching philosophy is simple. We do not use auto-tune. I listen to your raw vocals, identify where you struggle, and we work on it until you hit the pitch correctly. We offer a structured path for everyone, from absolute beginners to those prepping for stage shows or reality show auditions.

Whether you visit our academies in Kandivali, Malad, Virar, Borivali, or Nalasopara, or join me online from anywhere in the world, the focus remains the same. You will get access to handwritten notes, recorded progress, and plenty of opportunities to perform during our academy events. If you are ready to put in the work and practice, you will see the results in your own performance, not just on a piece of paper.
