Authentic Homemade Treats & Organic Beverages
I’m Meenakshi, and I believe food should be pure, simple, and honest. Every jar from my kitchen is made with the same love and care I poured into meals for my own family.
This is the story of how I started Mommade at the age of 75. I turned my lifelong passion for traditional, pure food into a small business, using the age-old recipes I learned from my mother. It’s all about sharing that authentic, homemade taste made with 100% natural and organic ingredients.

I don't believe in mass production. Every jar of pickles and bottle of squash is prepared in small, fresh batches right here in my kitchen in Greater Kailash. Because I use zero artificial preservatives, you aren't just buying a product. You are getting the honest, seasonal flavour of the ingredients, exactly the way my mother taught me.
When I started Mommade at 72, my goal was simple. I wanted to return to the roots of honest cooking, free from the chemicals and shortcuts found in store-bought items. Having spent a long career in interior design, I found that my true passion had always been in the kitchen, connecting with people through the food I make.
My range focuses on the essentials of a traditional Indian pantry. You will find handcrafted fruit squashes like Aam Panna and Kanji, which are made only when the season is right for fresh produce. For these, I rely on high pulp content and natural sweetness rather than sugar syrups. My almond-based Sharbat is another favourite, made with real saffron and ground nuts to ensure a rich, thick texture that you can actually taste.
Beyond beverages, I prepare a variety of pickles and savouries. Whether it is my Punjabi Aam Achar or jaggery-based sweets, I ensure every batch uses organic, high-quality ingredients. I take pride in the fact that I do not use any artificial preservatives, not even sodium benzoate. This means my products are fresh and retain their authentic, homemade character.
You can often find me setting up my stall at local markets like The Earth Collective at Sunder Nursery, where I love meeting fellow food lovers and sharing the story behind 'Maa ki Rasoi'. Whether you are looking for festive hampers or just a healthy, homemade snack to keep at home, I am happy to bring the taste of my kitchen to your table. Every purchase you make supports a dream that began later in life but is fuelled by a lifetime of love and traditional values.
