My Baking Journey and Teaching Philosophy

I am a self-taught baker from Bangalore. I don't just bake cakes; I teach you how to make them, sharing everything from my favorite fondant techniques to those inevitable 'flop' moments.

I was so happy to be featured with my twin sister in Vanitha, a leading magazine in Kerala. We shared some of our favorite Christmas recipes. It was a wonderful experience to share our passion for baking.

Flops happen to everyone. I wanted to share a story of when I accidentally melted my fondant toppers in the oven. I show the melted pieces and how I had to remake them, because learning from mistakes is a big part of baking.

Here I am holding my finished Mother Earth sugar sculpture. It was a challenging and rewarding project, and I love teaching others the skills to create their own works of art.

About My Story

I believe baking shouldn't feel like a high-stakes exam. Whether you are struggling with melted fondant in our humid weather or trying to rescue a sunken sponge, I teach you how to fix these common problems right in your own kitchen. My goal is to make the process simple, so you can enjoy the art of baking without the stress.

My path to becoming a cake artist was not through a formal school, but through trial and error in my own home. One of my proudest projects remains my 'Mother Earth' sugar sculpture, a piece that pushed my sculpting limits and reinforced my love for fondant art. This is why I focus my classes on tangible skills rather than theory.

Learning with me feels like a conversation at your kitchen counter. Because I know the common roadblocks that happen when baking in a typical Indian home, my tutorials are designed to be practical. If a cake collapses, I don't just tell you to avoid it; I show you the structural techniques—like using central dowels—to prevent it from happening again. My lessons are in conversational Malayalam, which helps when you are trying to understand the nuances of things like ganache ratios or temperature management.

I share my own 'flop' stories because I want you to know that mistakes are part of the journey. Every melted figurine or lopsided cake is just a lesson in disguise. My courses include downloadable recipe cards, troubleshooting checklists, and even guidance on using budget-friendly household tools instead of expensive professional equipment. Whether you choose a single technique module or an intensive masterclass, you get clear, step-by-step guidance to help you build your own stunning cakes.
