My Fondant & Sculpting Showcase
This is where my passion for detailed art comes to life. I love the challenge of sculpting with fondant and gumpaste. In my classes, I teach the fundamentals so you can create your own stunning, lifelike figurines and complex cake toppers.
A closer look at the Mother Earth figurine, focusing on the hand-sculpted facial details and the delicate texture of the hair and antlers. I teach how to work with gumpaste to achieve these fine features.
Another angle of the Mother Earth figurine, highlighting the seated posture and the draping of the clothes. Creating realistic folds in fondant is a key skill for figure modeling.
A profile view of the Mother Earth figurine, showing the small birds and flowers in her hair. These tiny details are what bring a complex piece like this to life.
This is my take on the goddess Te Fiti from the movie Moana. The entire bust is carved from cake and decorated with fondant, using an airbrush and crackle effect for the chest details.
Here I am holding my finished Mother Earth sugar sculpture. It was a challenging and rewarding project, and I love teaching others the skills to create their own works of art.
