The Dancepreneur Journey: From Vision to Stage
A look behind the curtain of my life—the hustle, the planning, and the sheer joy of building a dance business from the ground up.
I am not here to be average, I am here to be awesome. This is the mindset that drives me. I believe in knowing my worth, walking fiercely, and living a life without asking for permission.
As an entrepreneur, a lot of my work happens behind a laptop. This is me in planning mode, organizing everything from budgets and concepts to logistics for our next big event.
I truly believe that fitting in is boring. Being fiercely and unapologetically yourself is your greatest strength. This is the philosophy I bring to my life and my choreography.
Being an entrepreneur and a mother are two roles I cherish deeply. I was delighted to be invited to speak about this journey, because the lessons from one role always strengthen my ability in the other.
If you see me talking to myself, I am probably having a staff meeting. As an entrepreneur managing multiple verticals, my mind is always working, planning, and visualizing the next step.
You know you have worked hard when people ask you 'where are you?' instead of 'how are you?'. My work takes me all over the world, and I am grateful for every flight I catch and every dream I chase.
The sky reminds me of my freedom, my choices, and my journey. The clarity that comes from travel is a powerful tool for self discovery and helps me prioritize what truly matters.
A moment of quiet reflection and gratitude. Working across multiple time zones is demanding, but I am proud of the woman I am becoming: strong, driven, and always thankful for the universe's blessings.
No one is you, and that is your superpower. A simple reminder that embracing your unique identity is the key to growth and success.
Celebrating International Dance Day the only way I know how. Dance is my sanctuary, my passion, and my identity. I am humbled by its power and grateful for this incredible journey.
About The Dancepreneur Journey
People often see the final stage lights, but my job starts long before the music plays. Whether I am mapping out logistics for an international tour or coordinating a 12-song sangeet package, I treat every project like a business. It is about the spreadsheets, the technical stage blocking, and that 'once again' mentality that ensures we do not just put on a show—we deliver an experience.
My world is not just about dance steps; it is about the 'dancepreneur' mindset. I have built this career on the foundation that creativity needs structure to survive. When you work with me, you are not just getting a choreographer; you are getting someone who manages the sound, the team dynamics, and the inevitable last-minute chaos.
I have learned that the peace of a job well done comes from the hours spent in rehearsals, not just the applause. I am based in Mumbai, but my squad and I travel across India for events, from destination weddings in Rajasthan to corporate launches in Bangalore. Whether it is a corporate event in Riyadh or a family sangeet in Thane, the approach remains the same: I handle the 'how' so you can focus on the 'wow'. I am not here to play safe; I am here to make your vision a reality.
We focus on the technical details:
- Sound & Audio: Professional mixing and editing for seamless transitions.
- Stage Management: Proper blocking, marking, and coordinating with venue AV teams.
- Squad Coordination: Reliable, disciplined dancers ready for any production scale.
If you are looking for someone who treats your event with the same intensity as a professional stage production, let’s talk.
