About this collection

On a professional set, makeup goes beyond aesthetics. It is about how the skin interacts with high-definition cameras, artificial studio lights, and extended shooting hours. My process involves constant monitor checks to manage shine and texture, ensuring that the look remains flawless from the first take to the last.

Technical Precision on Set

Media makeup is a distinct discipline. Whether it is a fashion campaign, a magazine cover, or a commercial shoot, the goal is to make skin look like skin on 4K cameras while standing up to heat and long hours. My kit is built around high-performance, long-wear brands like NARS, Dior, and Kryolan, which I select based on the specific lighting environment of the day.

I treat every project as a collaboration. Before picking up a brush, I analyze the mood of the shoot and the light setup. This is not just about foundation coverage, it is about understanding how contouring shifts under studio flashes and why specific powders are necessary to prevent flashback in final images.

Meerra’s International School of Makeup & More

Teaching is a core pillar of my career. At my academy in Ghatkopar, I pass on the same techniques I use on set to my students. This gallery showcases not only my personal work but the progress of aspiring artists I train for their CIDESCO International Media Makeup Diplomas.

From learning eyebrow-erasing techniques for fashion editorials to mastering color theory for avant-garde looks, the training here is hands-on and rigorous. We focus on real-world application, hygiene standards, and the stamina required to succeed in the beauty industry. If you are looking to enter the profession or simply want to elevate your own skills, you will be learning the exact methods that work on professional sets, not just theory from a textbook.
