About Student Life & Behind the Scenes
The biggest shock for most students isn't the makeup technique, it’s the sheer pace of a professional set. In our classroom, you aren't just sitting and watching demos. You are sectioning hair, handling hot tools, and managing lighting while a model sits in your chair waiting for results. We mirror the real industry environment right here in Juhu because, on your first professional gig, you won't have time to second-guess your grip or your product choice.
When you walk into our academy, the first thing you notice is that it doesn't feel like a classroom. It feels like a busy backstage area. We strip away the unnecessary theory because you can learn product names from a brochure, but you cannot learn how to handle a bridal dupatta or balance lighting for an editorial shoot from a book.
My approach is simple: you learn by doing. We start with the basics, even if you are coming in as a complete beginner. Within weeks, you are moving from simple blow-dries to complex, multi-textured avant-garde styles. You will spend hours with real mannequins and live models, learning how to handle the pressure of on-demand styling. We teach you how to manage your station, talk to clients, and build a rate card that actually makes sense in the current market.
The crown jewel of your time here is your portfolio. We do not believe in handing out certificates for attendance. You build your book. We conduct professional shoots where you direct the look, manage the lighting, and style the hair and makeup. You walk out with 24 high-end images that you can show potential clients on day one. This is not just about learning makeup, it is about launching a career. Whether you are aiming for bridal work or high-fashion editorial, you need to be set-ready, not just technique-ready.
