Get a peek into what happens before the final reveal. From the high-energy chaos backstage at Lakmé Fashion Week to my masterclasses at Lakmé Academy, this is how I prep, create, and refine every look.

A glimpse into the exhilarating chaos backstage at Lakmé Fashion Week 2024. It was an incredible experience working with talented designers and models.

More moments from the LFW runway and backstage. Being part of such a huge event is a dream, and it pushes my creativity to new heights.

That final spray of setting mist is always a satisfying moment. Here I am putting the finishing touches on a traditional South Indian bridal look at the academy.

About this collection

You might notice I’m always carrying a mix of Huda Beauty, PAC, and Kryolan products in my kit. It isn't just about the brand names; it is about how these formulas perform under hot runway lights or during long, outdoor wedding functions. When I’m prepping your base, I’m not just applying foundation; I’m layering to ensure it stays sweat-proof and comfortable, whether you are walking a ramp or hitting the dance floor.

My Approach to Makeup

Makeup isn't just about the final output. It is a process of understanding the canvas—your skin—and using the right tools to enhance it.

The Backstage Reality Working at events like Lakmé Fashion Week taught me that makeup needs to be resilient. I apply the same high-pressure techniques I use backstage to your bridal or party look. This means focusing on:

  • Longevity: Using silicon-based airbrush formulas for a transfer-resistant finish.
  • Precision: Whether it is a sharp cut-crease or a soft, smokey eye, the structure has to be flawless.
  • Preparation: Proper CTM (Cleansing, Toning, Moisturizing) before any makeup touches your skin.

Sharing Knowledge I am not just a makeup artist; I am an educator. Teaching at the Lakmé Academy allows me to stay updated with the latest trends and techniques. When you book me, you are getting someone who understands the science behind the products, from the best way to adhere stone bindis to the exact setting spray needed for a Mumbai summer wedding.

Why My Kit Matters I don’t believe in heavy, cakey makeup. I select products that feel like skin. If you are worried about your makeup feeling heavy during a long event, my focus is always on lightweight, breathable formulas that offer full coverage without the weight. We aim for a natural, glowing finish that looks great in photos and even better in person.
