Clinical Yoga Therapy & Functional Practice

Forget the poses for likes. Here, we focus on clinical biomechanics and therapeutic results, whether you are recovering from an injury or fixing long-term posture issues from a desk job.

This is what real yoga therapy can do. My student Kelly shares her experience of recovering from severe back pain and a herniated disc in just a few days through my guided online practice. It is not about fancy poses, but about deep, functional healing.

I teach students how to achieve poses like the headstand safely online, without dangerous physical adjustments. My method focuses on building the necessary strength and understanding the technique, so you own the progress without risking injury.

Yoga is a powerful tool to counteract the problems of a modern lifestyle. These are my beginner students, many with desk jobs, learning to perform intricate asanas correctly and safely through my online classes, improving their health from the inside out.

This is not just about flexibility, it is about functional strength. Here, my student demonstrates her progress in Svarga Dvijasana and explains the mechanics herself, showing the deep understanding she has gained. This is the empowerment I aim for in my teaching.

Advanced yoga is not about extreme backbends. It is about internal health. A simple forward fold like Padahastasana, when taught correctly, is a powerful tool for improving gut function and balancing the body's internal systems, which is the true purpose of asana practice.

You do not need a teacher to physically force you into a pose. With the right technique and patient guidance, you can achieve complex binds like this one in Parivrtta Parsvakonasana on your own, even in an online class. The practice should be your own discovery.

My personal practice is a foundation for my teaching. It is a constant exploration of strength, balance, and awareness. This allows me to guide you from a place of deep, personal experience in asanas like standing splits and arm balances.

About this collection

If you are looking to fix a herniated disc or chronic back pain, stop trying to force your body into shapes you saw online. My diagnostic process starts by reviewing your MRIs and current movement patterns, not just guessing what might work. We use precise verbal cues to rewire how you move, ensuring you build internal strength safely from home, without the need for expensive props or risky physical adjustments.

Beyond the Surface

Most modern yoga prioritizes aesthetics over longevity. Many students come to me after getting injured in standard classes because they were pushed into advanced asanas before their bodies were ready. My practice is different because it is clinical, not performative.

My Clinical Methodology

I do not treat yoga as a cardio workout. It is a tool for rehabilitation and systemic health. We focus on specific needs:

  • Injury Management: Dedicated protocols for herniated discs, chronic stiffness, and modern posture-related issues caused by sedentary work.
  • Biomechanics: I teach you how to analyze your own body. You will not rely on me forever, as you learn to understand your own mechanics and internal alignment.
  • Virtual Effectiveness: This method works online because it relies on verbal cues rather than physical manipulation. This builds proprioception, which is your internal sense of where your body is in space. Developing this is far more valuable than a teacher forcing you into a pose.

The Shraddha Factor

Shraddha (faith) and patience are the only things you need to bring. I do not promise magic, but if you put in the work, the results in your internal health will follow. Barutte, barutte—it will come. We work on your tridoshas, breathing, and functional strength, helping you feel capable in your body again.

I’m Manjunath. After finishing my Master’s in Yoga Therapy and working at institutions like NIMHANS, I realized most 'yoga' today is just posing for cameras. My practice is for people who want to fix their bodies, not show them off.
